Tutu.ru, an analytical center for the travel and travel service, found out where travelers most often return from at the end of August. We analyzed tickets to Moscow for planes and trains with travel dates from August 20 to 31.
The average check for a plane ticket to Moscow from other Russian cities during this period is 9,120 rubles one way, and for a train – 3,195 rubles one way (to Moscow from other cities of the Russian Federation).
In the top in terms of demand for air tickets: Sochi (the share increased from 10% to 14%), St. Petersburg (the share increased from 5 .5% to 9%), Mineralnye Vody, Kaliningrad, Yekaterinburg, Samara, Ufa, Makhachkala, Kazan and Novosibirsk. In all directions from the top 10, Tutu.ru analysts record an increase in the share compared to last year.
Most rail trips are planned from St. Petersburg (every fifth ticket), Anapa, Nizhny Novgorod, Simferopol , Voronezh, Novorossiysk, Kazan, Rostov-on-Don, Yaroslavl and Belgorod. Thus, in the top 10 railway directions there are many cities with which air communication is now suspended.
Analysts of Tutu Hotels add that in August accommodation facilities in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Sochi, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar and Kaliningrad. On average, in August they travel for two or three nights.
